August.

It's hard to believe that 2012 will be over in a matter of hours. This year has flown by so fast. I still remember last New Year.  So much has happened in this year. One of the most important things is this blog! We started it back in August, and I remember we were so nervous about all our posts. Unsure of whether anybody would even like them. Thank you all so much for your continued support. You've helped us to gain so much confidence over the past few months. This post is just a reflection of the past year. We've included picture from our past posts, and we're hoping that we have many more posts in the future.
Our New Years resolution this year is to make sure that we blog blog blog! It took us awhile to get in the rhythm of blogging, but we're so glad we started Impetuous Deeds.
Hopefully 2013 will be a great year for the blog, and for those of you read it!

Happy New Year!

A dew of silver light was ever falling

J.R.R. Tolkien - The Lord of the Rings

Everyone enjoy boxing day shopping?
I was feeling slightly lazy this morning and ended up getting out of the house at about 3pm; not good when the shops close at 5pm!
2 hours is not enough time for when going sale shopping. But I did manage to pick up this amazing necklace from new look at the bargain price of only £5! .. but shhh, that's just between us.

You'll find out you're blue

Jitterbug Perfume - Tom Robbins

Shirt Dress - Zara | Jumper - Asos | Boots - Asos

Hi, sorry for being absent from the blog for so long. I've just been really busy.
I took this earlier today (Sunday), with the help of my mum. I wasn't intending on editing them, but I was feeling rather 'blue' when I was writing this post, so figured that black and white pictures suited my mood. They also have a slightly blurred and grainy effect which I like too.
Hope your all well. I promise I'll try harder next time.

Sparks

Coldplay

Thought we'd try something a little different and post a short video. I have to admit the quality isn't amazing, but hopefully with practise we will reach perfection!
I put together a neater outfit today for a trip to the theatre with the family.

In the cold, cold night

The White Stripes

Sorry for the lack of post's recently, we've clearly failed our post-a-day mission!
This was my masculine outfit for the day. Personally, I think as long as it is paired with heels and jewellery (which admittedly isn't always), my masculine choice of clothing works nicely.
Hope everyone's enjoying the holidays! love Christmas time.

They knew what they knew

The World's Wife - Carol Ann Duffy

A quick post to show my four favourite things this week! I recently bought three of Carol Ann Duffy's collection of poems; The World's Wife, Feminine Gospels and Out of Fashion.
They're written from a feminine point of view, and I especially like the collection from The World's Wife. She's chosen to focus on the wives of history's most famous men. It's quite refreshing!
I also re-discovered this bracelet which was a present from my Mum over four years ago. It's made up of stars, moons and suns. I have a weakness for anything with a crescent moon on it, or stars.
Happy Friday!
