Come on down and dance, if you get the chance

Kings of leon - Back down south

T shirt - Primark (men's section)
Scarf - H&M (men's section)
Cardigan - H&M (men's section)
Trousers - H&M
Wedge heeled ankle boots - Deichmann

Just quickly put this post together as I'm trying to make up for my lack in contribution towards the blog lately.
I went for my traditional boyish look today, as you can tell since half my outfit is brought from the men's section (Ambreen won't be too pleased). But, its easy, comfortable and looks good! Effortless.
currently obsessed with this scarf! It was brought as a treat while I was in Berlin and I think it makes up the best blend of colours for winter. These wedges are also a favourite at the moment. Their perfectly suitable for looking good on the constantly wet floor that makes up Manchester city.
For this post a stole a external flash from my uncles shed of vintage cameras & parts. I never use the flash when doing photography, even in dimmer light settings, I tend to use surrounding light sources to light the picture. I don't think I've perfected its full potential yet, but I do like how some of the pictures have turned out. Hopefully with some experimenting, we'll have some fantastic shots soon.

Those who don't believe in magic will never find it

Roald Dahl

Red dress - River Island | Kimono Jacket - Republic | Black Maxi - H&M

Happy Halloween! Well as you all know, Wednesday was fright night. We really, really did not want to do anything, but because we'd already said earlier that we would do a Halloween post, we felt that we couldn't go back on our word.
So tah-dah! Here's the result! Irsa is some form of skeleton with an urban, edgy twist shall we say?
And me? I'm a vampire, or witch or maybe a vampitch? Haha.
We literally took these pictures in the pouring rain, our faces were melting and we were frozen! But, we really like how the pictures turned out. I think we look scary. Do you agree?
Irsa's mum painted Irsa's face, amazingly done wasn't it?
(For those who are interested, she owns Dollz Hair and Beauty in Didsbury, Manchester)
We hope you enjoy, and sorry if we totally creeped you out!

Double, double toil and trouble; fire burn and cauldron bubble

 Macbeth - Shakespeare

This is just a quick post in honour of Halloween approaching etc etc.
We had a lot of fun with these photographs, and just used black net and lots of dark red lipstick. Irsa has to take all the credit for the editing, as I'm rubbish at that sort of thing!
We'll be putting up a post on Halloween to show off our outfits, which we're still undecided about.
Enjoy!
