Each day has a colour, a smell

Here are a few photographs we took on Friday, after we had watched the new Batman film. Can I just say, that it was so much better then we had expected. There were so many twists, and so much unpredictability which is rare for an action film these days. Anyway, we took these photographs while it was raining, and I think we can all safely assume that for the near future all of our photographs are going to be taken while the sky pelts us with water! After all, we do live in Manchester. Which says it all really. Inspired by the quote above, which is from the novel 'The Mistress of Spices' by Chita Banerjee Divakaruni we decided to edit the pictures in a way which made best use of colour. Hope you've all had a lovely bank holiday weekend.

Today was one of those unplanned days that turn out to be extraordinarily memorable. We met up with a couple of friends earlier for lunch, which lasted about three hours. The weather could not make up
it's mind, one minute it was absolutely pouring it down and the next the sun was out. This wasn't really a photoshoot but more of a medley of photographs. The title of the post is a quote from Mark Twain, and it just sums up how unpredictable today was. How are you spending your summer?
